How to change your Instagram Bio font
Adding fonts to your Instagram bio
As businesses, we are always looking for new ways of standing out amongst the competition, especially when it comes to our social media marketing.
There are over 25 million business accounts on Instagram globally, that’s a lot of businesses competing for the audience within their industry! So, how can you make your profile stand out from the rest? We’ll tell you.
Your Instagram Bio is what people first see when they land on your profile. It should be direct and to the point, it needs to be obvious what you offer, whether that is certain products, services or education. Pretty obvious we’re sure. But, to give it that extra little ‘summin summin’, you can change the font in your bio to make it stand out and coincide with your brand! And we are going to show you how to do this on both mobile and desktop.
On your mobile find a font website that is specifically catered for this task, we would suggest www.igfonts.io
Start typing your Instagram bio description in the box at the top of your screen. The website will automatically start showing your different font options as you are typing.
Scroll through the different font options and highlight the font you wish to use. Then copy the highlighted text.
Head over to your Instagram account and select ‘Edit Profile’.
Once you’re here, scroll to where your current bio description is and delete it. Then tap the black box and select ‘paste’. Your new font will appear. After this has appeared, select ‘Done’ in the top right-hand corner of your screen and voila, your new font will now appear on your profile!
Go to www.igfonts.io and let the page load.
At the top of the page start typing your text into the box. It will automatically start showing you font options for your description
Once you have completed your bio description, scroll down until you find a font that you like, highlight that font, and copy it.
Head over to your Instagram account and select ‘Edit Profile’. Once this page has loaded, highlight your current bio description and delete it. Then right-click and select ‘paste’ and then your new font will appear in the box. Once this has loaded, scroll to the bottom and select ‘submit’. Then go back to your profile page and your new font will have updated.
Sometimes it’s the small changes that can make an impact. We hope this blog was helpful! Happy gramming!
